Transportation & Mobility

Agentic dispatch, conversational booking and passenger service for mobility operators.

Where the opportunity is

We built and sold a ride-hailing platform, so this sector is grounded in operational experience rather than inference: dispatch quality under load, driver applications that have to work on poor connectivity, and passenger communication that prevents a support call instead of handling one.

The problem

What operators tell us

Sector-specific constraints, rather than a generic list of business problems.

  • Dispatch is manual and quality varies with whoever is on shift.
  • Driver applications fail where connectivity is poor, which is exactly where they are used.
  • Passengers call for status updates that could have been pushed to them.
  • Trip, driver and vehicle data sit in separate systems.
  • Booking calls go unanswered at peak.
Proposed workflows

What we would actually build

Concrete workflows for this sector. Each is a bounded job with a measurable result.

01

Dispatch assistance

Agent-assisted allocation proposing assignments and surfacing exceptions, with dispatchers retaining override and control.

02

Conversational and voice booking

Bookings taken by chat or phone agent and written into the same system of record as the app.

03

Proactive passenger updates

Status, delay and arrival notifications sent before the passenger thinks to ask.

04

Driver support agent

Answers driver questions on process, payments and app issues from approved content, escalating the rest.

05

Offline-capable driver app

Local state and queued actions that sync when connectivity returns.

06

Operational reporting

Utilisation, trip and driver reporting on governed, consistent data.

Benefits

What changes operationally

Realistic operational changes. We measure the specific numbers for your business rather than quoting industry averages.

  • Dispatch decisions consistent across shifts and volumes
  • Driver applications usable in real network conditions
  • Fewer inbound status calls through proactive notification
  • One operational picture rather than several partial ones

Questions

Transportation & Mobility — FAQs

Can we start from RideOn?

Where your operating model is close to it, yes, and it is considerably faster than a bespoke build. We assess fit honestly before recommending either path.

Do dispatchers lose control?

No. Agent assistance proposes and surfaces exceptions; your dispatchers approve and override freely. Full autonomy in dispatch is rarely the right starting point.

Does the driver app work offline?

It is built for it: local state, queued actions and sync on reconnection, because intermittent connectivity is the normal case rather than the exception.

Have an AI or software
challenge to solve?

Let's evaluate your requirements and design a practical, secure and scalable solution for your business. We will tell you honestly whether AI is the right tool, and outline what a first build looks like.
